FIFA has spoken and it’s time for Luis Suarez to pay up for the now infamous World Cup bite. The Uruguay striker made headlines when he appeared to bite Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini during a World Cup match. FIFA has placed a nine match and four month ban on the Uruguayan strike along with a fine of over one-hundred thousand dollars. So, while no one else in the tournament has to worry about getting bitten, it’s a little too late for Chiellini who is now sporting the World Cup’s most bizarre battle wound. This isn’t the first time Suarez has gotten in trouble for biting. In 2010 there was an incident with Otman Bakkal, and in 2013 Suarez was punished for biting Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic.
